Many people have rooms upon rooms fill with various porcelain dolls from every collection imaginable, in the hopes that one day, someone will be willing to pay top dollar for their “investment”.  If you are planning on setting up your own room, don’t expect to receive any monetary return on your dolls. In fact, expect to only receive a myriad of stares and questions.

If the goal is to make money, however, that room is better used as a rental. Aside from select rare dolls, these porcelain reminders of the past aren’t worth much more than $10. And no, not any old “rare” doll will do, no matter what that vintage store employee tells you.
