10 Horror Films Which Will Scare You Senseless

Eraserhead, a 1977 American surrealist horror film, can be heavily credited to David Lynch, who wrote, directed, produced, and edited the film. On top of that, Lynch also created its score and sound design.

The black-and-white film tells the story of a man left to care for his grossly deformed child in a desolate industrial landscape. Eraserhead wasn’t initially well received but ended up winning audiences when it started playing as a midnight movie. This film has also been selected to be preserved by the Library of Congress.
