The Hells Angel is the most well-known of the so-called “outlaw motorcycle gangs.” It all started with a group of motorcyclists based in Fontana, California. It was founded in 1948 and now has hundreds of international charters. The club has been accused of criminal activity by law enforcement officials. While, they don’t seem to be very good at abiding by the law, there is one code of conduct which they will stick to, and that is their own. They have strict rules in place for anything from what they wear to how they get into and maintain their position in the club.

On their website, the Hells Angels clearly state that if you have to ask how to get into a club then you “probably won’t understand the answer.” Becoming a member is no easy feat and it can take years to complete the process. This is due to the fact that once you join, you’re in for life. You must work to gain the seal of approval from every individual member of the group, who will then take a vote to decide whether or not they think you are worthy of joining them.
