McBride starred as Fred Simmons in 2006’s low-budget comedy film “The Foot Fist Way”, which he co-wrote along with Jody Hill, Ben Best, and others.
In 2009, he was offered a professional baseball contract by the Pensacola Pelicans, a minor-league American Association of Independent Professional Baseball team.
He signed an endorsement agreement with K-Swiss and was the roadie in the Tenacious D video for “Roadie” (2010).
Two trailers for a Crocodile Dundee 2 were posted online in January 2018. The film was titled ‘Dundee, the Son of a Legend Returns to Home’. McBride was said to play Brian Dundee in the film, the son of Crocodile Dundee.
HBO ordered “The Righteous Gemstones” in late 2018 straight from McBride’s Rough House Pictures label.
