The ancient Beringians
There is a theory called the “Beringian standstill hypothesis” that tries to answer which early humans crossed the Beringia bridge. This theory states that the “ancient Beringians” first lived in Beringia in isolation because of the harsh climate and ice.

If the theory was true, this means that they are the sole ancestors of all the Native Americans. In fact, there were still some natives that lived near the Upward Sun River, some have claimed that their families have lived there for generations.
