The West Side Story star and Best Supporting Actress winner Ariana Debose has been attending the Oscars with her signature thigh-slit gowns over the past years. We can’t blame her – her dancer’s legs are fabulous.

But for Oscars 2022, she switched up her style and decided to attend in pants. She made history as the first Afro-Latina queer woman who picked up her Oscars trophy in pants. This outfit from Valentino had a cape which was a dramatic touch but we can’t really say we love the fit of her top.
