Shallow Hal Was Indeed Shallow

Shallow Hal was a 2001 film about a guy who only looked at a woman’s outer beauty and failed to notice what was inside. The movie does say Hal is shallow, but picking apart a woman’s every single flaw was still done in bad taste.

While the movie did try to redeem Hal, and we’re sure they meant well, it’s still not a movie we should have been watching as kids or teens back in the early 2000s. They even asked Gwyneth Paltrow to wear a fat suit. Oops!
