Anyone interested in pop culture already should know about Elizabeth Taylor and her actor husband Richard Burton and their glamorous lifestyle. Married from 1964 until 1974, and then getting remarried for one more year from 1975-1976, the couple was always making headlines.

But the media scrutiny only intensified when Burton purchased a private jet for Taylor. He named it, “The Liz”. As you would expect, Taylor was overjoyed by the git but you would think, it should have been the opposite since her ex-husband, film producer Mike Todd, died in a private plane crash in 1958.
