Deserae was an average high school student. The 17-year-old wanted to attend a top college so she really tried her best to get good marks at school. She prepared early for her SATs too. Deserae’s friends knew of her goal and were very supportive of it. Together, they would talk about what life would be like once high school is over and they start life at uni where they will have to seriously work for their chosen careers.

Deserae Turner started out loving high school. She enjoyed going to class every day. Deserae was the type of girl who got along well with everyone in her class. So what happened to her came out as a shock to everyone who knew her.
