A year later, in September 2020, the Tademas were informed that their application for the flowerbed was rejected. What made it worse is that they were being sued by a law firm on behalf of the HOA for the violation.

According to the HOA’s lawsuit, the HOA had communicated with the Tademas asking them to remove the flowerbed multiple times through written notices. The couple refused to remove them or inform the HOA that they had intentions to fix the violation.
