Netflix describes Castlevania as ” A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself” and to us, this sounds like quite a winner of a show, especially considering it already has an established fan base in the gaming community.

But of course, before its fourth season premiere, Netflix announced that it will also be its last. Why the sudden cancellation? According to Deadline, the media giant is making a new series in the same universe and centring on a new cast of characters.
