And this is where a lot of complications arise, especially to those that are not used to authoritarian commands.

As a part of the royal family, you must heed to certain directives more than anybody else. These rules were made by the Queen herself and the other monarchs that came before her. Two examples for this would be needing her nod of approval for potential marriages in the family and the proposed wedding dresses for the royal brides. And informing the Queen before anyone else of the delivery of a new baby within the clan.
