As a non-profit organization that relies mostly on donations, its staff consists of volunteers. No one got paid for their time or work. Their passion for the cause and the joy of seeing animals recover under their care are the only thing that kept them going.

Despite the fact that they do not get paid, the staff of Friends for Life Rescue Network enjoyed the fact that they were saving lives. It was a benefit they reaped that humbled them and kept them grounded.
