A tragic incident

Horace the vervet monkey faced tragedy at a very young age. He was just a few weeks old when he lost his mother in Zimbabwe. It looked like he and his mother were crossing the street when his mother got hit by a speeding vehicle.

Although Horace was able to run to the side of the road safely, his mother was not able to make it. It was there on the side of the road that they found the disheveled and cold monkey back in 2015. A few meters away, his mother lay lifeless in the middle of the road.
