F-22 Raptor – $350 million

The F-22 Raptor is an advanced air superiority aircraft that can also be used for intelligence and ground attacks. It was designed and produced by Lockheed Martin in 1997. For a steep $350 million you are one of the best air fighters around.

The jet features two F119-PW-100 turbofan engines that provide 35,000lb of trust and give the F-22 Raptor Mach 2 capability. There are 187 Raptors still in use today. However, Lockheed Martin has moved on from this popular beauty and replaced the jet with the newer and even more advanced F-35 Lightning II.
