Beefsteak Charlie’s
The first Beefsteak Charlie’s restaurant opened in New York City back in 1910. The restaurant was known for spoiling their customers full. They offered an all-you-can-eat shrimp cocktail and salad bar and their steaks were bigger than a man’s head.
Unfortunately, Beefsteak Charlie’s started losing profit during the 1980s and had to close up. It was actually surprising how they lasted that long given the fact that they have been offering rock-bottom prices for a long time.
