When word got out that Prince Harry was finally going to marry American actress, Meghan Markle, media outlets were going crazy. Wedding preparations at the palace were also afoot and Meghan was just as hands-on with the arrangements. She chose a Givenchy gown that was simple but iconic.

She worked directly with Clare Waight Keller, then artistic director of the brand, for five months and it was done in secret. They both came up with an elegant all-white gown that featured a bateau neckline. Meghan also wore the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau Tiara, loaned to her by the Queen herself.
