Thinking Of Relocating? These Cities And States Will Pay You To Move There

Always Fancied Living On A Greek Island? This Is Your Chance

Antikythera is a Greek island which lies between Crete and the mainland. It has a population of just 20 people. The people of Antikythera would like to see these numbers go up, such that they are offering a monthly stipend to anyone who moves there. Each month, new residents would be given 500 euros ($565), which adds up to a total of $20,000 over a four year period.

Antikythera is looking to attract young families. According to Greek news source lefimerida, over 300 people lived there 40 years ago, but numbers have since dropped drastically. While there is no gas station, grocery store, or taxi service, this isn’t much of an issue since there are boats that run regularly between the island and the mainland.
