7 Paris Hilton: “That’s hot”

Paris Hilton, who was at the height of her reality television fame in the 2000s, trademarked her signature phrase “That’s Hot”. She appeared on “The Simple Life”, with Nicole Richie, and quickly became famous for using this expression. Hilton also wanted it to be on T-shirts and other merchandise, just like the other celebrities on this list. It was also something she wanted to bring with her to the fashion industry.

Hilton sued Hallmark later in the year after they used her phrase “That’s Hot” on parody cards. Hallmark claimed that they were only exercising their freedom to use the phrase. The lawsuit was finally settled three years later.
